More Tips

Spectrum Inkpads – when storing these, be sure to slide the pads apart to prevent colours from bleeding into each other. Only push them together when inking up a stamp; just tap the stamp moving it slightly to the side to get a complete inking. When you use a brayer, be sure to keep the pads separated.

Heat embossing – Warping of your cardstock can occur if you hold your heat gun too close to your cardstock. Move the heat away quickly after the embossing powder has melted.

Stampin' Tip

Repetition Stamping – You can get many colours from just one inkpad. Stamp your image one or more times without re-inking the stamp. Use this method for 2-step stamping. You get several shades this way, and it adds depth to a stamped image, almost like a shadow. Think of trees or flowers - the faded image will appear to be in the distance.
