This easel card is so easy to do! All you have to remember is to fold things in HALF - no need to remember complicated measurements.
I've used the big wave stamp from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set as well as images from the Let's Set Sail bundle.
Simply fold your card base in half and then fold the front of the card back in half again to meet the fold in the middle. This creates the easel shape.
Then create a "stopper" to hold your card in the easel shape. I've used a punched sentiment raised on Dimensionals to achieve this.
Today is St. Valentine's Day!
I made a special card for my husband. I decided to go with a slimline card and matching envelope.
I've used the Heartfelt Stamp Set and coordinating Heart punches. The colours are Sahara Sand and Merry Merlot. I've included a full list of materials below.
Here's a fun card I made for my team's monthly swaps.
Our theme this month is "Soft and Subtle" so I've chosen some cute little bunnies from the Oval Occasions bundle and I've used colours from the Subtles colour collection.
I love how the punch has both of the ovals in the one punch. I used the larger, wavy oval to cut out my bunny image.
I coloured the images in with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers - the colour so nicely with no lines showing. I popped a couple of Champagne Rhinestones in the flower centres for a bit of bling.
The Mint Macaron card stock was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles folder - it is a very subtle embossing folder and gives just the right amount of texture for this card.
I hope the rest of the swaps love this card as much as I do!
The "Oh So Ombre" Designer Paper Stack is available as one of your free choices during Sale-a-bration.
It's a 6x6 paper stack featuring 4 colours - Blackberry Bliss, Graanny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay and Rococo Rose.
For this card I've used the Rococo Rose side and layered that onto a White card base. Over the top of the ombre layer I've added the Detailed Hearts Die, cut from white card stock. To make it easier to adhere to the card, I added adhesive sheets to the back of the white card stock before I ran it through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
I've added a sentiment from the "Parcels & Petals" stamp set, stamped in Rococo Rose ink.
Finally, I used mono multi glue to adhere one of the new Heart Charms.
What do you think? I think this would make a nice St Valentine's Day card and a change from the tradition red colour.
