Ready for Christmas - staircase card

Here's a cute Christmas card we made today at my monthly Coffee & Cards class.

We used the Ready for Christmas Stamp Set and the matching Staircase thinlit dies.

The Wood Textures DSP really makes the staircase look realistic.

A simple thank you card

Its been quite a while since I blogged, sorry!  I thought today I could share with you a picture tutorial for the card I'm making as thank you cards this month.   Its a simple design but I hope these photos will give you a few tips on how to recreate this card.

2016-2018 In Colors are "retiring"

Hi Friends,

In just a few days time, Stampin' Up! will announce their list of retiring items.  These are the products from the current Annual Catalogue and Occasions catalogue that will not be available in the next catalogue on June 1st.  This list of items will also be a "while stocks last" situation and many items will sell out early on.

One of the products that sells out very quickly, often within a day or two of the list being released, is the In-Color range of products.  These colours are only available for 2 years at a time so the 2016-2018 colour range will retire now.  

If you love any of these colours, I strongly advise that you purchase your ink refill bottle and extra pack of card stock NOW!  Once that list is released, people seem to swarm the website and those are the 2 items I have seen sell out the fastest in the past few year.  If you own the ink pad, definitely purchase the ink refill so that your ink pad can last forever.  

I'm not quite sure how I'm going to live without Emerald Envy for my scrapbook pages! It is the perfect grass green for outdoor photos.  Sweet Sugarplum is just the sweetest purple colour for little girls and Dapper Denim is just perfect for masculine cards and scrapbook pages.
