Another cute card for you today and a video to go with it. Totally loving this cute set called Dressed to Impress. Perfect for the fashionista in your life! Hope you love it too.
I've had another go at videos! Yay! My aim this year is to film and upload more videos for you. Let's see if I can stick with it and improve as I go.
This first one is a quick share about one of the popular cards from my January classes. This sweet Unicorn card uses the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set and Stitched So Sweetly dies. What do you think? Leave me a comment to tell me if you like it :-)
I love to make and send thank you cards to my fabulous friends and customers. I really appreciate them choosing to spend their hard-earned money with me. For my September customers I chose the Parcels & Petals stamp set to make their cards with. I also sent them a pack of our cute Artisan Pearls (no longer available) as a bonus gift.
The Woven Heirlooms designer series paper was perfect for this project - I really like the Rococo Rose and Sahara Sand piece. I've teamed it up with Granny Apple Green to bring a little brightness to it. The Stitched Shapes dies are used A LOT in my craft room - especially the circles.
I don't always come up with my own card designs from scratch - I found a card I liked on Pinterest and then modified it to suit the colours and papers I wanted to use. Do you do that too?
The floral imagery in this set is lovely - its kind of a speckled and mottled look. Very "forgiving" (as in, you don't have to stamp it perfectly and it will still look good!)

This year (2019) Stampin Up ended their partnership with Sizzix - this means that Sizzix no longer manufactures our dies and embossing folders.
How does this affect you? Well, our new 3D embossing folders are slightly thinner than our previous ones made by Sizzix. This means that if you own a Sizzix Big Shot machine (like we used to sell) these new thinner folders don't "fit" the same way. You either need to add some extra sheets of card stock as a 'shim" to make it thick enough, OR, purchase our new 3D Embossing folder plate. You use it in place of your normal cutting plate. It is a bit thicker than a normal plate - therefore just right for using with our new folders. Its even been made blue in colour so you can tell it apart from your normal clear cutting plates.
How will you know if you need to use this special plate for not? If the 3D embossing folder you have purchased from me (Stampin' Up!) does not say Sizzix on it, then it is likely our new style folder and will need this new plate. If you purchased your embossing folders some time ago and they say sizzix on them, just use the normal clear plate with it.
I'm thinking I might start marking my new style folder with a blue sticker or blue pen marking so that I remember to use the special blue plate with them.
The new blue plate is $17.50. Let me know if you'd like me to order one for you or click the images/links below to shop online.
Hi Friends,When you shop online with me in October at stampinwithbec.stampinup.netplease use the host code - it allows me to redeem some rewards which I can then share with you at the end of the month! Yay! At the end of October I will send out a pack of Noble Peacock Rhinestones to those of you who ordered online, spent over $50 and used the code :-)
***Just remember, if you are spending $250 or more, don't use the code! When you spend $250, you qualify for your OWN host rewards of $25 or more, which is worth more than my little gift ;-)
The fabulous Envelope Punch board is one of my FAVOURITE tools. Not only can you make more than 66 different sizes of custom envelopes, you can make boxes, bows and more!
I made this quick little video to show you how easy it is to make an envelope with this great tool. I love it for using up my way-too-big stash of pretty papers. Make an envelope and use the off cuts on the matching card! :-)
The envelope punch board is soon to be gone, the amount of stock in our warehouse is getting low, so grab it before its too late. It is one purchase you are sure to never regret!
I love making thank you cards! I think they are something we don't do enough of these days. Its such a lovely thing to get a card in the mail so if you can think of someone who has done something nice for you, pop a card in the mail to them - they will get such a kick out of it! Better than opening a phone bill ;-)
I whipped up a dozen of these super quick today - so easy with pretty paper like the Tea Room DSP.
Over the years I have earned a number of Incentive Trips. To earn these trips, a demonstrator must reach certain levels of sales and/or team building. This is not an easy task and only a very small percentage of demonstrators earn each annual trip.
