Watercolouring - what NOT to do!

Here's a card I've been demostrating at my recent workshops:

Sorry it's blurry - I didn't realise it until I'd uploaded and unfortunately I don't have another (and am too lazy to go take another one! LOL!)




This close up is of another copy I made of the same card. I used it as a case-in-point of what happens if you don't let one colour dry before you add another colour. One of the workshop participants had a great idea - rather than call it a mistake she said it looks like a bit of "atmospheric burn"! I like it!
