I love making thank you cards! I think they are something we don't do enough of these days. Its such a lovely thing to get a card in the mail so if you can think of someone who has done something nice for you, pop a card in the mail to them - they will get such a kick out of it! Better than opening a phone bill ;-)
I whipped up a dozen of these super quick today - so easy with pretty paper like the Tea Room DSP.
I really enjoyed teaching some simple colouring techniques with our lovely Stampin' Blends alcohol markers this year. The ladies who attended these classes really enjoyed it too so I have decided to run another series for the first half of 2019!
The next round of Stampin' Blends club will be held at 2pm on approx. the first Saturday of each month for 5 months. The dates at this stage will be:
Feb 2nd, March, 2nd, March 30th (instead of early April), May 4th and June 1st.
The cost of each session is $35 which covers 4 markers - you will use these markers in the class and then they are yours to keep. If you attend all 5 sessions you will build up a great little collection of markers which you can enjoy using for a long time to come.
Since I have not yet designed the projects for the next round, I thought I would share with you what we did for the previous round so you can get an idea of what you might learn and do. I will change up the colours for the next round but it will work in a similar way.
If you'd like to join us at Stampin' Blends club, please give me a call on 0403071367 or send me an email at stampinwithbec@me.com
We'd love you to join us in 2019!
If you're more of a video person than a reader, here's a quick facebook live video I did today to explain the Stampin' Blends club. :-)
Here is a quick Facebook Live video I did today to show off our new CLING stamps! I am SO happy about these. You may know if you've stamped with me before, I stopped putting the labels on my stamps because they don't stick that great to the blocks. Well our NEW ones are amazing!! They stick so well, there is NO WAY they will fall off the block and make a mess on your projects! yay!
So our rubber stamps will not be called Clear Mount anymore - they will now be called CLING stamps with the new and improved labels.
Some of you may be sad to hear that our WOOD MOUNT stamps are now being discontinued :-(
I always loved my wood mount stamps but I certainly have noticed that not many of my customers are purchasing them anymore, in favour of the clear mount and photopolymer stamps. I have to agree that I now prefer the ones that mount onto clear blocks from a space and money saving point of view.
Here is the card design I made for my October customers. I am really enjoying sending out thank you cards each month and I hope it brightens their day :-)
I love the leaf embellishments in copper - really makes the card feel extra special.
If you decide to shop with me in November you'll receive your thank you card at the beginning of December :-) If you shop online with me and use the host code for November (7S29WRNH) I will be able to send you a free gift at the end of the month along with your thank you card.
Its been quite a while since I blogged, sorry! I thought today I could share with you a picture tutorial for the card I'm making as thank you cards this month. Its a simple design but I hope these photos will give you a few tips on how to recreate this card.
