Birthday Invitations

I thought I would share with you the invitations I've made for my son's 2nd birthday party this month.

I've used a colour combination that I chose from the Colour Coach - Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal and Certainly Celery.

I made these invitations in the pocket card style and have used the "Eat Cake" stamp set.  You can't see it very well in the photo but I have used the 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the candles.

I like to stamp matching envelopes where possible and the Stampin' Up! envelopes are lovely and smooth to stamp on.

I didn't use my Stamp-a-ma-jig this time but it certainly would have helped to get exact placement.  I was running short of time so just estimated and stamped "by eye".  I think they turned out ok!

Stamps: Eat Cake

Inks: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal (ink pads and markers)

Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White

Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Apricot Appeal brads, Celery Grosgrain ribbon

Tools: Corner Rounder punch
