Father's Day Cards
A couple of Father's Day card ideas for you:
This one features some Hodge Podge Hardware. A bit of hardware always helps to create a bit of a masculine feel to the card.
I have used the Stamp'n'Write Markers on the Father's Day stamp.
The patterned paper is from the Spring Showers Designer Series paper. It is not pictured in the catalogue but is still available for purchase.
Stamps: Occasional Greetings
Inks: Sahara Sand and So Saffron markers
Paper: Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Whisper White, Spring Showers
Accessories: Hodge Podge Hardware
Tools: Paper piercer (to make holes for the brads)
This card is one I have been using as a make and take at my workshops this month.
Again I have used patterned paper on this card.
This time I did not use markers on the stamp. There is no marker for Wild Wasabi so instead I had people stamp on 3 separate pieces of Whisper White in Wild Wasabi, More Mustard and Real Red ink. Then they cut them up and layered them together in the colour combination they liked best. In this case, I kept the Real Red image whole and layered the More Mustard and Wild Wasabi pieces onto it.
Stamps: Occasional Greetings, Sanded background
Inks: Wild Wasabi, More Mustard, Real Red
Papers: Wild Wasabi, More Mustard, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, East Coast Prep DS Paper, Whisper White
Accessories: Real Red brads, dimensionals
Tools: Word Window punch, paper piercer to make holes for brads

Another idea for your Tart and Tangy stamp set:
You can find instructions for how to make these Trifold cards on SplitcoastStampers HERE.
I just changed the colours and stamps to make my own version. I did this card as a make and take project at my Hostess Appreciation Evening last month.
Stamps: Tart and Tangy
Inks: Real Red and Old Olive markers
Paper: Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White, Summer Picnic double sided paper
Tools: Circle and Scallop punches, paper trimmer with scoring blade
Accessories: Bashful Blue grosgrain ribbon
Bugs and Kisses Choccie Bar Holder
Sorry about the lack of posting over the last week or so. No excuses really, other than just life getting in the way of blogging! LOL!
Here's a pic of the choccie bar holder I gave my sister-in-law for her birthday at the beginning of August. I don't often use the Bold Brights colour family but I am trying!
Stamps: Bugs & Kisses, Spot On Jumbo Wheel
Inks: Brilliant Blue, Only Orange
Paper: Brilliant Blue, Only Orange, Gable Green, Whisper White
Tools: Slot Punch, Corner Rounder Punch (with guard removed to make scalloped edge), Small and Large Tag Punches
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Hemp Twine

What else can I do?
Hmmm...I can just imagine you are all asking: "So what else can I do with the Tart and Tangy stamps, other than your awesome class?" ;)
So here's an idea:
I saw a card like this somewhere on the internet - most likely SplitcoastStampers - and thought I'd have a go myself. (I really ought to bookmark these ideas when I see them so I can link to it!)

Inks: Sahara Sand marker, Close to Cocoa, Apricot Appeal, Regal Rose, Soft Sky
Papers: Vellum cardstock, Naturals Ivory, Whisper White, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Tart and Tangy spots and alternatives
I have 2 more spots available on Tuesday 26th at 7:30 pm and 4 spots available on Saturday 23rd at 9:30am so contact me ASAP if you would like to attend. I need deposits by Monday 11th so I can order the stamp sets in time.
If you can't make it to my class (live too far away or dates just don't suit) I have an alternative for you:
Purchase the Tart and Tangy stamp set, Summer Picnic Designer paper and a roll of coordinating ribbon (Pumpkin striped grosgrain, Old Olive wide grosgrain or Real Red wide Grosgrain) and I will email you all the instructions (with photos) for free!
This purchase would cost you:
Stamps - $21.95
Papers - $11.95
Ribbon - $14.95
Total = $48.85
+ 5% P&H - $5.95
TOTAL payable = $54.90
